our history
1992
Identic opens its doors in Brussels at the height of the « copy shop » boom. At the time, the aim was not to appeal to consumers, but exclusively to companies wishing to outsource their reprographic work. The flexibility of digital technology is gradually changing this situation and making it possible to reduce production times, stocks and over-consumption.
2003
Guided by Thierry Paquit’s vision and redefined strategy, Identic is now launching its first online services, simplifying the purchase of print and reducing overproduction. And so we enter the era of web2print platforms.
2005
Based on its successful digital experience, Identic is now focusing on the education sector. Our online platform for ordering syllabus, Syllanet, was a great success and was soon adopted by a number of Brussels universities and colleges.
2008
The company’s ongoing growth led us to look for new premises near main roads. Identic then moved to Zaventem. 2,000m² of modern offices and a warehouse holding some 20 employees.
2014
Identic becomes one of the largest digital printers in Belgium by acquiring Proxess-Maes, our main competitor in the region. We also continue our commitment to diversification by strengthening our services with a graphic studio. Customers can now not only print, but also have their communication tools created.
2020
Despite the health crisis, Identic launches its first e-commerce, Print4Student. Charlotte Paquit, Thierry Paquit’s daughter, is now at the helm of the company, launching this new solution aimed at the B2C market. Print4Student: the low-cost online copy shop with home delivery!
2021
Following the success of Print4Student, Identic also decides to launch a solution for professionals: Print4Business. The same concept, the same quality, the same flexibility.
2024
We extend our services to include signage and offer our clients full support from design to installation.
Our FSC® certification (C185877) reflects our commitment to sustainability. This enables us to offer you the option of ordering and printing on FSC® paper, guaranteeing a responsible and social approach that respects natural resources.
